Being the best at being you may seem simple, but it’s harder for some people than you think. We go to work, some of us go to school and some of you may have children on top of juggling the struggles of this thing called life but do we take the necessary time to be our best?
I see so many of my friends settle or think that what they are doing is “it.” They do they same thing daily, but they never aim higher to meet their highest potential. Why?
Their need to feel like they can’t afford to do what they love or the weight of responsibilities may take over, but it doesn’t have to!
My wish for all of my readers is this:
If you are doing something that because of trying circumstances, you feel that you have to, continue to do what’s best for you. However, I encourage you to do what you LOVE to do as well. Never Let life get in the way so much that you forget what GOD gave you the talent to do in the first place! If you love to model, do it. If you love to sing, sing in the shower, sing every chance you get like your life depended on it, if you love to dance, try out for a team! Believe it or not, I’m telling you to put your job second or make your job what you are passionate about doing and give it 110%! Don’t settle for average.
People ask me all the time…mostly my family and friends: “Kara, why do you work 3 jobs?” I tell them because I love all 3 of my jobs so much that I don’t mind doing them all. Yeah, sure, money is nice and I need it just like everyone else needs it, but I choose to do what I love so that I don’t get bored and don’t have to put my talent and passion on the back burner.
The time to stop making excuses for why you can’t is NOW! You can, I believe in you and you are BEAUTIFUL! If someone tries to knock you down for trying to do something you love, let them go!You don’t need that negativity in your life! Hold on to your dreams and never let them go!
