3. KARA: Why are these recommended for kids going back to school? Why should parents invest?

MICHELLE MORAN: The biggest issue with kids going back to school with in-person instruction is the mask requirement and figuring out how kids will be comfortable wearing them all day long. SKINEEZ’ masks contain a super soft breathable fabric that wicks moisture, prevents germs from seeping through and that same super soft fabric wraps around the ear! This is super important because this is often the most irritating part of the mask-wearing experience. They are also adjustable and have a “scrunch” effect around the nose, so they fit super well. My brand ambassador Jene Luciani’s 4 Young children will ONLY wear our masks – that says a lot!

4. KARA: How much are they? How can we purchase them?

MICHELLE MORAN: www.myskineez.comThey are $21.99 and with 30% off and free shipping they are about $15.00.

5. KARA: Are there any statistics that you can provide as to what makes these masks safer than other masks on the market?

MICHELLE MORAN: Skineez are the only Skin protectant reusable AntiBacterial Face Mask that provides soothing, cooling protection. Designed with two layers of fabric (cotton and a synthetic ) to uniquely soften, cool and protect one’s face by combining STA-COOL® moisture management yarn, cotton and polyester and ZincX™ technologies along with its signature five key moisturizing nutrients for a triple threat in mask protection. Zinc promotes skin health, wound healing and immune function properties. Healthy skin protectants help soothe and heal facial skin while a medical grade, antibacterial fiber barrier helps protect both the user and others from harmful germs.

*In a recent study by Duke UNiversity they quoted these two types of masks below are are the safest after the N95 surgical found in a hospital
A disposable surgical mask made from a plastic-derived material called polypropylene followed by a mask made from two layers of cotton and one layer of synthetic material. Another recent study that utilized similar technology suggests that cloth face masks need at least two to three layers of fabric in order to be protective, and the CDC recommends using two layers of quilting fabric – which we have!
